The last few weeks have been busy ones from a recruitment front, and we are pleased to share some updates about our team’s development and expansion.
First of all, we are delighted to welcome on board two new team members who started with us in May!
Gemma Clark has joined us as an executive assistant, and will provide support for the attorney team as well as driving forward our marketing and communications activity. Having achieved a degree in journalism from Glasgow Caledonian University Gemma has written for a wide variety of publications and began freelancing as a teenager. She then spent four years gaining business experience working in finance for a large government body.
Euan Devlin has also joined as a trainee patent attorney, following a career as a senior technical advisor for an upstream oil and gas services company. Euan has a multi-disciplinary technical background, with experience in electronics, physics, mechanical and offshore engineering and biomedical technology.
In addition, Marta Guarisco has changed her role, and is now working as an executive assistant to provide support for the attorney team and to deal with our finance administration and credit control.
Finally, we have also hired a further patent attorney trainee who will join us in a few months’ time – we will share more details about that when we can.
The creation of these two new support roles for the company together with the investment in our trainee attorneys means that we can continue to grow and still maintain our commitment to first class client service. We are inspired by the community of innovators and change makers that we have a privilege to serve, and are excited about the ways that we can help our clients get a grip on their intellectual property to add real commercial value to their businesses!
